内容简介：

This landmark book, a monumental chronicle of the p***ographic genre created from the chaotic energy of everyday street life, grew out of a fifteen-year collaboration between an esteemed curator and a distinguished p***ographer. The work of such celebrated masters as Atget, Stieglitz, Cartier-Bresson, Brassaï, Walker Evans, Robert Frank, and Garry Winogrand are presented here, along with extraordinary p***ographs by complete unknowns. Colin Westerbeck's enlightening text illuminates each of these images, and a new illustrated afterword by Westerbeck, only available in this paperback edition, examines contemporary street p***ography.

作者简介

Colin Westerbeck is curator of p***ography at the Art Insitute of Chicago, and editor of Irving Penn: A Career in P***ography.

Joel Meyerowitz is best known for his large-format colo***ork published in Bay/Sky and Cape Light, but he began his p***ographic career in the 1960s as a street p***ographer.
