作者簡介

理查．桑內特Richard Sennett

在倫敦政經學院及哈佛大學教授城市研究，也是哥倫比亞大學資本***與社會中心的資深研究員。在成為社會學家之前，對音樂有所涉獵。桑內特獲獎無數，包括獲頒2006年黑格爾人文與社會科學終身成就獎。三十年來，他在聯合國的贊助下主持都市發展專案，指引二十一世紀的城市發展。著有《再會吧！公共人》（The Fall of Public Man）、《職場啟示錄》（The Corrosion of Character）、《肉體與石頭》（Flesh and Stone）、《匠人》（The Craftsman）等書。
